Matua is one of New Zealand’s most historic wineries, founded in 1974 by the Spence brothers. It produced the country’s first Sauvignon Blanc and played a key role in shaping NZ wine globally. Today it sources grapes from multiple regions including Marlborough and focuses on fresh, fruit-driven modern wines.
